Crisis Mission:

AmeriCares relief workers in Haiti and in the Dominican Republic have been working around the clock to distribute critical medical aid including antibiotics that fight infections and pain medicines for survivors with broken bones, as well as other essential relief supplies. Recent AmeriCares aid to Haiti includes medicines, medical aid and humanitarian relief to help people suffering from bone disease, pain, fever, infections, heart disease, burns, ulcers and pneumonia. It also includes medical equipment, surgical supplies, wound care treatments, women's health supplies and hygiene items.
